  • Advanced Care Directives: Navigate the complexities of end-of-life medical care by creating advanced care directives.
  • Empowering Yourself: Break free from the unknown. Empower yourself to take control and make informed decisions.
  • Busting Myths and Answering Hard Questions: Confront common misconceptions and get answers to challenging questions surrounding death.
  • Planning and Preparing Sessions: Practical sessions to help you plan and prepare, ensuring peace of mind for yourself and your loved ones.
  • Death Positive Atmosphere: Embrace a relaxed and "death positive" environment, fostering open discussion, self-reflection, and community support.
  • Field Trip: If available, you may get to visit a funeral home for a comprehensive behind-the-scenes understanding.

Acknowledging the sensitivity of the topics, we approach discussions on suicide, sudden death, and terminal illness with care. Our goal is to provide an open, confidential, safe, and supportive space for individuals from all walks of life.

This course is supported by the TEC (Tertiary Education Commission) to assist with literacy, numeracy and wellbeing needs of students. You must attend 80% of the class. At the same time we hope you will learn other useful and interesting skills and have a lot of fun learning with us.
