Adrian Kelly

ABOUT THE TUTOR:

Adrian Kelly became a qualified Death Doula after what they describe as a “lifelong obsession with death and dying.” What once felt unusual to them is now something they recognise as a calling — helping others navigate end-of-life conversations with compassion, honesty, and understanding.

Their teaching style is relaxed, approachable and considerate of students’ emotional needs. They value creating a space where people feel comfortable asking questions and exploring difficult subjects at their own pace.

Outside of teaching, they enjoy hiking, gaming, listening to music, and entertaining friends with dinner and games. They are also passionate about helping others and are currently working on the “Nontheist Initiative,” which aims to connect people with non-religious support services and organisations.

When asked what advice they would give to anyone considering adult learning, their answer was simple:
“Keep learning. Life is a classroom, not a courtroom.”
