Nau mai, haere mai!

Welcome to Fraser ACE - Adult Community Education. We exist to bring fun and practical learning to the Waikato region and beyond. Education changes lives and we provide over 50 opportunities per term for everyone in our community to meet people and try new skills.  All our programmes are delivered by experienced professionals and incorporate numeracy, literacy and social wellbeing elements.

Our Refund Policy

To ensure eligibility for a refund, it is imperative that seven days' notice be provided prior to the commencement of the course. Kindly note that reservation of a position in the course is contingent upon the completion of payment.

In the event of a course cancellation due to insufficient enrollment, a complete reimbursement will be issued to the affected parties.

Refunds will not be granted for personal health-related matters or individual choices. However, should a course experience postponement due to pandemic-related precautions, arrangements will be made to accommodate makeup sessions.

Outlined below is the Withdrawals Refund Policy:

- Refund requests submitted at least 14 days preceding the advertised course commencement date will be honored, with a deduction of a $20 administrative fee.

- Requests for refunds within one week of the course commencement date will not be entertained, as the administration relies on confirmed enrollments to facilitate course operations.

- No refunds or transfers will be facilitated after the commencement of the course.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation with these policies, which are designed to maintain the integrity and efficiency of our educational services. Should you require further clarification or assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us.

NEW PAPERWORK REQUIREMENTS FOR ENROLLMENT

We will need to sight your ID (Birth certificate, driver's license or passport) on or before the first night of class.

You can save time by sending us a picture or copy so that we can sight them electronically before class starts.

ID sighting is a requirement of the TEC in order to provide ongoing funding.

Government Supported Student Courses.

These courses are supported by the TEC (Tertiary Education Commission) to assist with any literacy or numeracy needs of students. You must attend 80% of classes. At the same time we hope you will learn other useful and interesting skills and have a lot of fun learning with us.

Government priorities for Adult and Community Education (ACE) are to encourage new learners, specifically Maori, Pacific Islanders and those who feel their initial learning was not successful, to re-engage with their learning and improve numeracy and literacy skills.
