Kia ora raa! Fresh and new to all things te reo Maaori, and Maaori related? Well, if this isn't the waananga for you!
During this 8 week waananga, we will have; lots of fun learning, plenty of laughs, too many dad jokes, and even more learning!
This waananga will focus on the fundamentals off all things te reo Maaori, such as; annunciation of the Maaori alphabet, kupu and names, simple everyday language, greetings, farewells, numbers, with an overall boost in confidence to say Maaori kupu and not feel so lost all the time!
It's always hard to take the first big step, so instead let's take many little ones together, and slowly build each other up!

This course is supported by the TEC (Tertiary Education Commission) to assist with literacy, numeracy and wellbeing needs of students. You must attend 80% of the class. At the same time we hope you will learn other useful and interesting skills and have a lot of fun learning with us.
