New to te reo Māori and Māori culture? This wānanga is the perfect place to start!
Over three weeks, we’ll enjoy fun, engaging learning sessions filled with plenty of laughs, a few too many dad jokes, and lots of opportunities to grow your confidence.
You’ll learn the fundamentals of te reo Māori, including correct pronunciation of the Māori alphabet, everyday words and names, greetings and farewells, numbers, and simple phrases you can use in daily life. By the end, you’ll feel more comfortable saying Māori kupu without feeling lost or unsure.
Taking the first step can feel daunting - so instead, let’s take lots of small steps together, building each other up along the way.
Come along, sign up today… and who knows, I might even teach you something!
