Learn to Cook an Indian Banquet
One-Day Cooking Course

Time: 9.00am – 2.00pm
Join us for a hands on, flavour filled day as you learn how to prepare a complete authentic Indian banquet menu. This practical course is perfect for home cooks who want to build confidence with Indian spices, techniques, and time saving methods.
Throughout the day, learners will:
Identify and understand a range of spices of Indian origin
Learn multitasking and time management skills essential for cooking multiple dishes
Prepare, present, and package a variety of traditional Indian dishes
All dishes will be made from scratch in a supportive and practical learning environment.

• Butter Chicken of Old Delhi
• Rice of Jaipur
• Poori of Chennai (time permitting only)

Please note: You will be required to bring ingredients, container for your yummy food, tea towel and an apron if needed (Also handy to bring your own Nutri bullet/blender, if possible)

This course is supported by the TEC (Tertiary Education Commission) to assist with literacy, numeracy and wellbeing needs of students. You must attend 80% of the class. At the same time we hope you will learn other useful and interesting skills and have a lot of fun learning with us.
