This course is perfect for: Anyone with a foundational understanding of painting with acrylics. It is specially suited for those ready to take the next step after our Dive into Landscape Painting introductory course. This is the ideal "Part 2" for students looking to move from basic techniques to a professional, consistent methodology.
In our 8-week Intermediate Level Landscape Course we go beyond the surface to explore the time-honoured techniques of the greats.
This isn’t just a painting class—it’s an immersion into classical methodology:
- Notan & Design: Find the structural balance used in centuries of art.
- Imprimatura & Bistre: Master the "rub-out" method to create glowing tonal underpaintings.
- Impasto & Texture: Learn when to build thick, expressive layers for maximum impact.
- Master Studies: Direct inspiration from historical landscapes to inform your modern style.
Duration: 8 Weeks (1 session per week)

Note: Desk top easels will be available for use in the class.

(Please do not buy heavy body, liquid paints, or the really small sized tubes for this course)
